I've always loved crafting at Chrsitmastime. These past few years I haven't made time to do it, but I needed a little bag to put my nieces' little gifts in and so I decided to get crafty!
This little project took all of 10 minutes and it's super festive and fun! Here's what you'll need to whip one of these up yourself...muslin bag (if you don't have one, you could also do this on plain paper bags as well),Versamark ink, silhouette cut of your image, glitter embossing powder, a heat gun, a piece of twine and a tiny red enamel dot.
To make it, take the silhouette image (I cut mine with my Silhouette Cameo, but you could use punches or whatever you have on hand) and place it on top of your muslin bag where you want the image to go. You can adhere it with washi tape or just hold it steady. Use the ink pad to ink the negative part of the image onto the bag. Remove the paper and sprinkle embossing powder onto the design. Heat it up with a heat gun until just embossed and you are almost finished. Add a small enamel dot or button with glue and tie a piece of twine to the top. Fill it with goodies and this adorable little package is ready for gift giving!
Great idea, Kelly! I'll have to try it. I didn't know you could emboss on fabric. The muslin bags I already gifted would have been so much cuter.
