The Brooklyn Flea gallery is LIVE!! I loved this kit so much and am realllly wishing I could have squeezed in some more time with it. Alas, such is the life of a photographer during the holiday season. Sigh. I've got big plans for January's kit already though! ;) Anyway, here's what I managed to get done this month...this first one is my favorite. I started by misting with white mister huey over the SC butterfly masks. Then I used some glossy accents to outline the image left behind by the mist and just glued the twine down to outline the butterfly. super easy! I also used a gluber to make the flower out of the exclusive scraps ribbon from the main kit.
This layout came together quickly with the main kit, Brooklyn Flea...this kit is packed with an awesome mix of goodies! The main kit on it's own is fantastic! I loved the earth tones and used Mister Huey's Clay mist to bring it all together w/the ampersand mask.
Shiny Brite is an amazing add-on...those vintage ornament stamps are awesome and all the bright patterns and colors are so festive and fun. I've loved this photo since i snapped it, but it's SUPER grainy and it took a lot of editing to get it to look decent. by printing it small (3.5x5), the graininess is hardly noticeable in person :)
Don't forget that you can also now pick up Studio Calico's newest wholesale products on the site too! Happy Monday, friends!! More tomorrow :)
