Studio Calico's May kit, Granny's Cupboard, is live! This kit is full of beautiful colors and such great embellishments that I couldn't resist getting ALL 3 add-ons this month. There were so many pieces I wanted in each of the add-ons.
I told you already a little about this layout and being inspired by that circle chipboard. I misted it with Turquoise mist and it matched the other blues in the kit perfectly! I also inked the edges of all my circles with Tumbled Glass distress ink.
With Earth Day being last week, I had some recent photos from an Earth Day event I wanted to scrap. I loved the AC chipboard pieces and cloud paper from the Knick Knacks add-on....perfect for this "earthy" layout :) I cute some of the clouds out from the other half of the paper and then added them on top of the paper on my layout w/pop dots for a fun dimensional look. And that twisted burlap?? LOVE!!
This was the first layout I made when I got the kit. I knew I wanted to scrap a beach photo with the Knick Knacks add-on. The blues and greens and pop of orange were perfect! Used more of that twisted burlap here...love that stuff!
The Girl's Paperie papers screamed spring to me and were a great match for these egg hunt photos of Brady. I added some detailing with my American Crafts pen, used my new Photo Labels Punch (lovelovelove this!) and the October Afternoon Thrift Shop stickers from the shop.
This layout came together super quick. I just love all those K&Co. die-cuts and the pop of red in the Trinkets add-on. So fun! I also used a bit of lemon mist on this to darken up the yellow cardstock from the More Color add-on.
Hurry quick and go get yourself some of this kit! You won't be sorry! And don't forget about the AC Adhesive promotion...buy a This to That and get a refill free!

Okay, so I have lots of exciting SC stuff to share...the big reveal is TONIGHT. Don't forget to check out the DT Gallery! And if you're not a subscriber and haven't already gotten your hands on the kit and all the extra goodies, then be sure to come by at midnight tonight and grab it all up because it's sure to go FAST!
And don't forget about the AC adhesive promotion! Buy a This to That adhesive roller and get a refill for FREE! I loooooove this adhesive and will be filling my cart full of it this month. It's pretty similar to my old favorites Duck and Kokuyo, which are no longer made. This has become my new fave! :)
And of course, Studio Calico has some big plans for National Scrapbook Day! Chats w/the DT members, a challenge from each of the designers, an online crop and tons of giveaways!!
And so you can get a headstart on the challenges, each of the DTers will be posting their challenges on their blogs today. You can check the SC blog for a master list of all the challenges. My challenge is a 5 product challenge. Super simple, just make sure you use these 5 products:
I hope you guys will all play along...here's a sneak of mine I made last night w/the May kit. :)
Enjoy the reveal tonight!!! :)

I've spent the majority of the day recovering from a busy and fun weekend. Hit the grocery store, did some laundry and got all organized for the week. I want to do a weekend recap, BUT it's almost time for the Studio Calico reveal, so I want to share the last of my sneaks first. :)
First up, probably my favorite layout I made this month. That little chipboard piece screamed bubbles to me, so I knew I wanted to do a bubble page as soon as I saw it. P.S...Turquoise mist was a great match for the Knick Knacks addon...I used it here on the chipboard.
This was the last layout (of 5) that I made....with some photos from Earth Day :) I mixed up some of the pieces from each add-on for this one and also some of the Cosmo Cricket stickers that will be in the shop.
Some things I think might be helpful for this kit:
Tumbled Glass ink, Turquoise mist, Lemon mist and lots of these refills so you can make tons of layouts with this kit! :)
That's it for now...I'll be back with a weekend recap later tonight :)
